ESTRATO N.1

ESTRATO N.1 is another spatial poetry, in this case a transdisciplinary video installation.

This was designed for the principal entry of the University of Seville central building, where Bizet situated Carmen, his famous opera.

We recreated that very space before the existence of this magnificent building, and even before the foundation of the beautiful city of Seville: 8000 years ago, when a reedbed occupied this place.

So ESTRATO N.1 suggests a travel in time that immerses to the visitor in a forgotten, lost landscape that thousands of years ago was natural, but has been dramatically transformed into architecture by human beings.
