SANCHONG FACADE

One of the elements that we have noticed in Taiwanese residential buildings is that there is a big energy consumption due to a massive use of air conditioning throughout the year.

This façade design for a residential building of 100 m. high addressed these issues. After a study of temperature, relative humidity, wind speed, global horizontal illumination, sky coverage, etc. this façade scheme guarantees a 34% of air conditioning reduction throughout every year compared to the original building design given by the client. This is not only an important energy and cost saving, it also optimizes the sustainability and comfort feeling in the building.
